Going Solo (Authentic Task #2)

soloSolo: It is a story about a young man growing up in Los Angeles.  There is this dream that scares him almost as much as his reality.  He decides to find the meaning in both and leaves behind everything he knows, travelling halfway across the world where he discovers that the answers have been within him the whole time.  He just had to be ready.

This is the second in an “Authentic Task” blog series that continues each weekend for the next several weeks and seeks to capture our journey into and beyond the idea of authentic tasks:

  • This post and the last one serve as preview to the Making Space IconJCIRA Winter Gala on January 18.
  • Each weekend that follows, I will layer on the learning.  I’ll share with you insights gleaned from the Gala, and we might even have a few of the participants from the event stop by to lend additional perspective and applications.

I cannot wait to discover the learning that emerges,  what will we make in this space together.  I hope you’ll join me.
