Rocky Mountain Highs

I’m sure somewhere

someone is

shoveling snow.

Someone is shivering,

Cold-quivering,

Angel-making,

Snowfall flaking.

It is March after all.

But today,

the sun tickled my toes.

Burned my nose.

As I sat basking,

Zero-tasking,

Soaking in the shine,

Out among the pines.

Backyard antics,

Time to do tramp tricks.

It is March after all,

March in Colorado.slice of life challenge

It was hard for me to decide what is my favorite line from your poem with some much powerful language. I am still torn, but I decided on this,

    “But today,

    the sun tickled my toes.

    Burned my nose.”

    Awesome!
